Tea Time with Tom

What do you want for yourself? Think big!

What’s getting in your way to getting what you want?

What’s at risk for you to get it?

Are you ready to be peacefully empowered to get what you want for yourself?

If HELL YES, then the TIME IS NOW!

In my experience, willpower and conviction are not what stand in the way of achieving one’s “splendid plans.” It is not knowing what our “splendid plans” are in the first place. How can what we want be so elusive? The Buddhists teach the Law of Impermanence, which states that our wants change by the moment. So, how can we truly want something that will only satisfy us for a limited period of time? For as soon as we think we’ve figured out what we want and we get it, then our desire instantly changes to something else, which we then chase. If we are lucky enough to catch that desire, then our desire changes again, and the endless cycle continues. Most of us have been very successful in getting what we think we want – we have been chasing that carrot for most of our lives.

We have the right answers. What we are missing are the right questions.

When asked the right questions, I am surprised when I find out what I truly want, and then how easy it is to get that want, and how utterly satisfiedp I become when I get it. When I don’t ask the right questions, then I am back to chasing the carrot.

I am not suggesting that we stop chasing the carrot. We all need to eat and live. What I am suggesting is that our deepest wants aren’t found in that chase. There are many, many of us who are comfortable in our accomplishments. We have enough money, a roof over our heads, a good job, a nice car, a loving family, a number of close friends, good health, and yet we still have a sense of ennui, a feeling of listlessness and dissatisfaction. Do you identify with this sentiment? If you do, then I can help you find the right questions.

This is precisely what I do in my Tea Time with Tom. In this two hour session, we explore what your deepest want is and design a plan for you to get it before the session ends. This is a powerful and effective way to step into your Boldness, Power, Genius and Magic.

What do you want?

“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way. I have learned a deep respect for one of Goethe’s couplets:

Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.

Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it!”
